On the closing of the notarized purchase contract the agent is to receive a provision of 3% plus value added tax on the purchase price from the purchaser (Normally 6% in Berlin).
The purchaser has to bear any additional costs such as tax on the purchase of real estate or notarial and land registry charges on the purchase price.
